Sara and Tim are two FUN people.  When Sara told me that she was going to be wearing a red dress and her bridesmaids/man of honor were going to be wearing white I knew this was going to be a FUN FUN FUN wedding.  Then when I saw what they created, I was blown away.  White umbrella’s hovered over the tables at the reception to give the creative atmosphere and lighting to the room.  Each centerpiece was a vinyl record with a microphone and each place setting had a set-list-like handwritten program.  They used drum heads as a guest signing book, an empty guitar case for cards, custom backstage passes with a photo from their engagement session we did, and a shot of their special drink were given to each guest as they entered.  The ceremony, well I can’t even really explain how different and fun it was, but it was definitely creative.  BRING ON THE FUN!

Richard and Ishita were married August 7th at West End United Methodist church, followed by a beautiful reception at the Hermitage Golf Course here in Nashville, TN.   This couple has been such a joy to work with.

This wedding was simply beautiful, and I am so happy to have been a part of it! Congrats Richard and Ishita.

Here are a few favorites (it was tough to pick)

This past weekend was a lovely one indeed.  Jonathan and Nicola were married on Vanderbilt’s campus at Benton Chapel.  Followed by a dance marathon reception at the cool W. O. Smith Music School.  It was a night full of joy, tears and some pretty incredible speeches.  I’m pretty sure it will live on in my mind as one of the best nights of speeches at a wedding.

Thank you to the families and friends of Jonathan and Nicola for making their big day so beautiful and fun!

Meghan and Daniel were married yesterday in beautiful Huntsville, Alabama.  The two are magically in love and are two of the nicest, coolest people you’d ever meet.  I am grateful to have been able to shoot these two lovebirds.   Many More to come, but here’s a sneak peak at yesterdays wedding fun.

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting Ishita and Richard here in Nashville.  It was officially the earliest in the morning I have ever been up to shoot.  But I have to say the light was amazing at 6am, and not a soul was around to bother us.
